WEEK 3 W.O.W.’s

With a dominate performance on the mound Sophomore Ricky Carpenter is the Varsity W.O.W for week 3. In a close game against local rival Yulee HS, Ricky kept the Yulee Hornets bats in check for 6 innings. He was spotted a run in the second inning, an opposite field Homerun by Junior Infielder Jon Andrews, and it was all he needed as to give the home team a chance to win. In his 1st Varsity start Carpenter pitched well, he was also helped out by some fine defensive plays in the field, and worked his way out of a few jams with runners on. Senior Brad Ehasz came in to close the door in the 7th and pick up a save. Congratulations to Ricky and this young Wildcat team on a good win.
